I cut the exact size hole for each individual switch, the Painless rockers have tabs that lock it in place and work for varying thicknesses of the material it is installed in.

Looks great! I may do the same for mine. will be a little tricky the fiberglass is thin... Thanks for the response....

The ones in my vents and the ones in my lower dash are mounted to plastic that is between 1/16" and 1/8" thick so it is probably comparable to your fiberglass thickness.

thanks! it is a Pro Street 79 Malibu. Was painted and narrowed when I got it from a friend. Just finished the front end installed UMI control arms with Viking coilovers. Put Wilwood brakes all the way around with a Wilwood big bore mastercylinder. Building a 502 for it now. Sent intake off to John Molina and he installed a NOS fogger on my intake. Needs total interior. Working on the electrical now. Love the sight I am sure I will have lots of stuff to research being it is my first G-Body..
