I hope I don't have to live in it!
Aside from it just being generally awesome, I plan on upgrading the front brakes to discs, then a general maintenence sweep and then I'll be using it for a tow rig. Since I sold my pick up to buy the Buick, the hearse will fill it's shoes.
It's got enough motor and suspension to tow a car and trailer and I can sleep in the back, which is perfect for the track, since I'm way too lazy to ever set up a tent (been sleeping in the wagon for years).
Eventually it'll get restored, though I doubt I'll ever put the casket table and sh*t back in.
But that's long ways out, since I'd rather paint any of my other cars first.
As far as what it needs, it's pretty much just a really good cleaning, a driver side exhaust manifold, and then just start checking everything out.
It's just gonna be a dust collector for now, I'm going to take it out to my friends place tomorrow since my mom isn't too keen on it being in the driveway. I told her "it's a Cadillac, I'm classin up the joint". She thinks it's embarrassing, I think it's hilarioius.
That eBay hearse is gorgeous. One day mine will look that fine...
