I have an aluminum hood. Worth anything?

The Hood was shipped form Ohio USA to the West Coast in Canada. It took only 5 days by truck no damage to the hood. Hood was in a home made box with padding. One hood down one to go. So you can have a hood shipped safely if it is well packaged in a wood box with protective fill/foam.
Hi just wanted to update you on shipping alum body parts. I picked up my second alum hood that was shipped from Ohio Via Michigan.Part was shipped in a 2x6 frame box with 1/2 ply cover.The hood was then spray foamed into place with plastic covering hood so that no foam was stuck to the hood.Hood came with out damage shipper did a great job and took a lot of care so that it would make it to me safely. The key is to protect the edge of the hood and corners with foam.
So I would say it is safe to ship alu parts or metal parts if the shipper builds a good box and protects it with foam or other buffer.

yes i did read it but sinister G never put on here if he sold it I never assume anything because it makes an a$$ out of U and me and he may not of wanted to take all that time to ship it when he could have sold it to someone that lives in the same city.
