It is the Metallic Green.

Its a bad pic because of the shadows and little bit of sun poking thru. I bought it last year with 113K on the clock and it now has 116K. It has t-tops and the tan leather interior.

I didnt want to rot my cutlass out driving it this winter so I picked up a 97 Firebird with the performance 3800 package. The motor was locked up and the interior was nasty. Brakes were shot, swaybars endlinks were rusted off and the tires were junk. Put a 180K mile supercharged 3800 in it, replaced some suspension parts. I crashed it, found a 98+ nose and swapped the front end.

Overall its damn torquey and spins through second with nothing more than an exhaust and filter. Runs fine in the winter too!

Yep, rod bolt broke or fell out. One of the bolts was sitting in the pan.

Cool thread. I picked up a '96 T/A low miles from a guy had just bought it. He was driving it, fell asleep at the wheel and put it on a traffic divider. Holed the pan, set off the airbags, but other than that the car was perfect. I offered him $400 for it, he just had paid like $5K but had to leave for Texas the next day. He WAS gonna drive, but not in that car. He took it, begrudgingly..even Pisssed off, but I scored it. Threw in a windshield (Airbag damage) grabbed my '72 SS El Camino, my old Class C motorhome and ran down to Kompact Kar Korner. Traded them all in on a C-5 Vette and got rid of three headaches in one afternoon. Gave the C-5 to my wife and still have it. LOL,I think it's a disease.
