I need a good torque wrench

Tools Tested channel on youtube has some good videos on torque wrenches. He has a CDI/Snap On torque tester and has tested a bunch of wrenches. I needed a 1/4 torque wrench to install some small plugs on a HPOP and after watching his video I didn't have any qualms about using the $18 HF Pittsburgh...the clicks are not very audible on the 1/4 one but you can easily feel it break. Watched another of his videos the other day and plan on picking up the Icon 1/2 inch split beam here in the near future.

At Harbor Freight just say no to a Pittsburgh torque wrench. Bought a 1/4" inch-lbs a few years ago which only looked like one but couldn't even click when set to any setting. Would of been better to get a plastic one that was branded Fisher Price.
Same experience. Took like 30 FOOT pounds to get my inch pound wrench to kind if mushy click.

I like my 3/8 I got a few years ago at menards. Built several engines with it. MasterForce brand. I haven't really needed anything above 150ftlbs done so it suits me. Anything over 150 needs done a few ugga duggas with my hf impact has done good.

We swapped the summer tires onto the Cobalt. The Husky wrench worked well. A nice crisp click, easy adjustment, and it is ratcheting. I hope it lasts.
