This may sound very simple. Just trying to keep this simple and not trying to insult anybody . Are the upper control arms on the correct side . The left (driver) and right(passenger) are different and can be bolted to either side. Again not trying to insult you just wondering. I have the same swap on my Olds with Hotckis upper arms with no problems

I don't know if it helps:

I'd look into this too. Is there any difference in the lowers as well? Something about the geometry just has to be wrong for wheels that size to rub.

I also thought that the upper control arms were reversed. In other words, leftside arm on rightside and vice versa.
I think that could theoretically position the wheels more forward...or the lower control arms are reversed.

Much like what dr78442 and G-body_vet had suggested.

here is some pics of my right front upper control upper arm. These are Hotckis arms with b body spindles ( don't mind the dirt I haven't had a chance to clean the under side yet

if that is the right side of the car then your uppers are on ok...the 1.25 offset goes to the front

is your car sitting ground and are the upper control arms set up for the tall spindle?.....if the car is not on the ground set it down and move the car back and forth to set the suspension and then see what you have.

I'm running a tall lower ball joint and tall spindles with 245-50-16 tires and rims with a 4" backspace. With the monte ss box the outside edge of the tire would touch the rear of the wheel well slightly on a full lock and the other wheel would rub the 34mm sway bar...with the Z box there is no touching..

Can anyone in NY/NJ area recommend a good suspension shop? I'd like to let professionals take a look at the issue. I tried to put on a 16" TTIIs which were on my buddy's 78 Bu with no issues, and had the same problem.
