Here in Colorado they won't take your car, you just can't get plates. That is if you live in one of the seven or so counties on the front range that do emissions testing. From where I live, If I moved about five miles east across the county line, my vehicles would be exempt from all testing. As it is now, my LT1 swap will have to be checked by an emissions referee for all the required smog. Or I can play dumb and roll it through the smog station and see if it passes. Since I plan on leaving the cat(s) , egr and air pump and the employees there are barely capable of using multiple syllable words, I may just go that route.
