Here are the gory details:--of a Candian car(picture 3-4 months of good weather - the rest ugh!)
-86 SS white, all original, no t top, A/C, 80K miles, 3 owners, frame+floor+trunk corners = super clean, underbody and hinge area oiled frequently, orig paint, door rubbers vg, interior no tears, minimal wear, dash vg, mechanic owned, been taken on long trips, properly stored winter months, everything works.no smoke at startup, engine quiet
The bad: possibly higher than average mileage, pass side door very slight denting(really got to look for it), the stripes are dried and flaking in a few spots, engine weeps oil at timing chain cover(only wet - no drips)
The interior looks like 5 years old as does the exterior of a car driven only good weather.

To make it decent for shows all is needed is detailing. It has been cared for.

Asking $12000 Canadian( in US bucks it is roughly $8400) Will be offering around $7000 USD equivalent.
I would really appreciate you collective opinions on price. Of all the, supposedly 'excellent condition' G bodies I've inspected this one stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Sounds like you found a clean one. $7k US is a bit much but you have decide what it is worth to you. I paid $7k US for mine and it was a lot more than it was worth.

I'm wondering where you find 3-4 months of good weather????....if you are looking for new decals a friend of mine bought the SS package and decided not to put them on his newly painted SS

Talked to this 'gentleman' by phone...he suggested emission equipment is not required on this year engine because there is no etest needed.
End of story! Hope he's not on this G Body forum - there's gonna be some blood spilled.
