i know my dads chevelle will beat his vette but thats off limits lol. my dad has time cards of 12.43. and its only seen the strip once. plus its a 4 speed so running consistant all day is hard. ive done some thinking and i will do more. but im thinking a 383 that runs sub 13 times would make me happy. ive been looking at first and second gen eclipses for a fun all around performance car to build. light and plenty of power potential. all my friends want trucks....i want fast cars lol

and his dads camaro runs low 10s. he ran a 9.9 the one day years and years ago.

not a bad kit.

When my car is done in a few months it will keep up with his camaro all motor. When I spray it in a year or 2 ill be running better then his best all day long.

Hitting the 10s with a G body isnt hard... just hard on a very small budget.

the thing is even if you do build a ride that will beat him he'll upgrade his chip and walk all over you the next day..

just beating him the way the car is now would make me happy...sure i didnt beat a z06 but a z51 vette is no slouch... lol
