Year One 17" Z28 style, 8" wide all around. Don't recall tire size but I went with equal overall height of stock tires.

Luckily you Monte guys have more room for activities. No way I could put a 1" spacer on the rears, the lip would be eating tire! I could fit a 275 now, but would need a custom 3 piece wheel, $1k/wheel is not in the budget.
I’ve been reading into this subject a lot. I see success stories of people running 255s in the front and 275s in the rear with no rubbing. But some say a 235 is too much in the front. I guess it could just maybe be the difference between cutlasses and montecarlos?

For the rear wheels an 8” with zero offset, but say a 9 or 9.5 would require some negative offset to keep it from hitting the frame?

17x9 front 255/40, 17x11 rears 315/35. I am running 2” spacers do to the 7.5 backspacing, rear is also notched. Don’t have any rubbing issues at all

Man that looks good! Do you think you would need to of notched it if you had the 17x9 in the rear?

Do the later model cars have more room?

From the research I did you can run the 17x9 on the rear with out the notch, My issue was I liked the look of the ZR1 wheels and the backspacing was to deep. If you run a wheel with either a 4.5 or 5.5 depending on your wheel spacing with the tire it should fit. I would always recommend measure before spending money on wheels and tires. The Camaro wheels ar 7.5 backspacing and I have seen them on many GBody’s running 2” spacers, so just looking at it that way a 5.5 backspacing with a 17x9 should fit

Are you stock ride height? What do you think about a 9.5” up front? I can get a set of sawblades but they are all 4 9.5”. I think the front tire would be the problem with them though, I think a 255 isn’t wide enough for a 9.5.

I am lowered allot, front sits at 26” at top of fender and 26.75 in rear. I would agree the 9.5 would be a issue in the front. I am running 9” on the front

at the moment i'm thinking 17x8s all around with 3.5 BS and either245/45s all around or 235/ 50s on front. not quite sure though cuz not gonna be be buying till mid late april. the biggest tire i an get is 255/40 r17, i will keep up to date too bad there aren't bigger sizes.

EDIT i understand the stock n90 rims have 3.75 BS i want to be more even with the body
