Welcome to the forum. Looks like a good deal. Glad u saved it.

My Cutlass was one of my better vehicles as well. For $1,000 I was expecting it to run & drive but I did end up have to buy a new engine for it, but after that I got through a year+ 1/2 & about 10,000 miles w/ just 2 oil changes and a couple vacuum tubes + finally an intake manifold near end of those 10k miles, but hey I wasn't mad - that intake manifold did more than 100k miles of service before I ever saw it, right?

well the aftermath was i ended up selling my regal in 2010 to a friend i went 2 college with and he turned her into a grand nat clone everything was a clone about it cept the rocket 350 lol but in so selling the regal the gas mileage was hurting my wallet as a daily driver so i sold it for a 2004 gto 6 speed which turned out 2 be a lemon and a half sold the gto in less then a year lost a couple thousands lol i mean a radiator costing over 500 bucks online and at the the dealer 850 i mean come on lol gotta love that australian prices for parts for the gto lol but moral of the story is im here missing missing a g body lol and thanks for the warm welcome into this forum lol honored to be here good sir lol

ok either you had a 3.8 or the 307 which one did you have and why did u have 2 replace it .But that is one of things about the 307 i hated was how stock slow it is lol i know gm in the 80s all emission regulated you damn near were better off with the 3.8 lol but one of these days when i find a decent one i shall pick another one up and become a G body owner yet again lol but better yet your the lucky one if you still have ur cutlass lol one of my friends has a 86 cutlas salon he found for 1,500 bucks clean no rust t tops clean interior running and everything lol ya those deals are out there ya just got to grab them with both hands lol
