I would have never bought my 88. Either a clean with good paint 84 H/O or a 87 442. Then a stroker Olds 350, good headers, dual exhaust with a properly built 2004R and done. Drive it everywhere and enjoy the hell out of it. Hindsight and a crystal ball, makes everything easy to make the right choices.

You got that right! My non-G project Pinto quit running 25 years ago, I pushed it into the garage and said "someday" I'll fix it. Well, it took 25 years for "someday" to arrive. I finally started "fixing" it this last summer. Parts would have been a lot easier to acquire 25 years ago than they are now.

I’ve owned my Malibu since 06. I barely touched it since 08. Back at it now though.
