Doug had an early morning session
(well, early for me anyway)
with the speech therapist. She was so impressed with his progress that she cancelled their session for later this week and says that after next week he may not need any more therapy

This is a post written by my wife this morning. We were so happy!!

That's great news! Wishing you all the best!

Doug,
Glad to hear youre making progress with your recovery. I just saw this post and am very relieved to read through it and find you are doing better. Best wishes for the remainder of your recovery!

After decades of my work as a Tinsmith/Welder and getting metal slivers in my eye's from timer to timer, I was asked by my Neurosurgeon to have an x-ray taken of my eyes for metal slivers (they didn't care that it happened over 20 years ago!). He wanted to make sure he would see a "clean" image (one without metal in them) of my brain scat that I'll be getting on July 20, 2018. This "scan" will be for a more complete scar of the blood vessels at the cerebral hemorrhage area of my brain. ... If all is well after this scan, I'll be "cool-to-go"! Know more "anti-seizure" medication, drinking a beer at our ballgames, being able to climb while working, ANY,,, I'll be able to start working out again! ... I'm not giving myself a false sense of security, I'm just preparing myself if it works out that why!

Doug

Sounds like it is going great. That is good news. Keeping that positive attitude certainly helps!

Good luck with the scan next month and continuing success with your recovery!
