I'm working on a top secret project  and I need some lights that are about 2"x4", preferably halogen fog lights. Anybody know where I can get some for a decent price?

The autozone near me sells them close to that size but im not sure of the exact dimensions. I was actually in the process of putting my fog lights in with the lower front turn signals of my monte so I have been looking around for different lights also.

I have been hunting the yards, trying to find something similar, but OEM from any manufacturer

I've got Cibie (fog) and Bosch (driving) -- all halogen. Both have very nice beam shapes and provide very good visibility while driving in the country.

P.S. The two top pictures are from before the latest re-build. The bottom picture is the current "work in progress".

s10 extreme came with OEM fog lights about 2" x 4". it was also an option on the stock s10 but with a different bumper/air dam. I'm sure other little trucks from the same time period had fog lights that size OEM

Well 83Montess, that was my top secret plan, to put them with the turn signals. I didn't think it had been done before, how are you planning on doing it?

I actually thought of an idea something like that awhile ago but when I seen one of your old threads back in the monte section I decided to go ahead and do it. But right now I have 2 bulbs (not sure of specs) but when I can im gonna pull the bottom lights out and drill small holes to thread in the bulbs and wire them into a switch on the dash. It might be a couple weeks because im not too thrilled about drilling holes into my perfectly good lights so im gonna try and find some cheap ones to practice on and to figure out exactly what im gonna do. Another problem I thought of is do you think they would be too bright to where you couldnt see the turn signals??? If so, I think im gonna wire them up behind the grill but dont want them to look out of place. Suggestions and ideas are welcome . . .

these + your side indicators + your front/rear parking/turns? I think the wiring is old anyway why stress it, you'll blow fuse and flashers, why not just use them as fog lights
