Oh ok, I thought I ask, ill just get them from hooker I found them on my summit book ill get them from there.. thanks again, ill put pics of the block as I'm going along..

The smaller tube headers would likely fit better,1 7/8 or 1 3/4,and may suit your 454 better. The 2 inch arent really needed unless you are building for big power.Even in my case they are probably a bit too big.

Thanks guysmonteSS I got my headers finally. I have another question what springs did u use in the front or do u know what set up I can use??

The front springs on mine are HD ones from a V 6 air conditioned Malibu, but if you are using aluminum heads the stock ones may be all you need.

The 2241 2" headers fit perfectly, with no mods, no having to clearance around anything, and they are a mild header, for big blocks. A built big block uses 2 1/4" or so.

The downside, to the 2241's are the slip joints. The set comes in 5 pieces, with 3 slip joints, and no provision to seal them. Hooker says to use muffler cement, others say to use high temp silicone, but neither works for more than 1 full-throttle run.

The 2 joints on the passenger side seem to stay sealed fairly well, it's the one that goes around the steering column that will not stay sealed so I always have the leak noise.
