need info on installing window sweeps 1985 cutlass supreme and also the silver molding on top of the door where can you find them

Gbody parts dot com, Mikes Monte's or OPGI are good places to look.

It's been a long time since I did the install but I recall that it wasn't too much trouble. I think that I removed the top of the inner door panel and rolled the window down to reveal the screws that held the window sweeps in place. Maybe youtube has a detailed video if you're inexperienced in this area..

You may have to lower the window bottom stops to give you more space (& keep the glass from getting wacked.) Be a good idea to hit them with WD40 or PB'laster (or the like) to help them break free.

I just installed the outer sweeps on my '87 Cutlass last week, but I only have a pic from the outside. If you're talking about the chrome trim on the inner sweep, it's attached to the sweep itself. Does your Cutlass have the wide trim along the top of the door? There are different sweeps for doors with and without reveal molding.

As the others said, lower the window all the way and you will see the 5 phillips head screws holding them in.

I got mine from Rockauto as they had the best pricing.
