Installing Buckets with center console

I am going through my check list here on items to addres

I need to get a bracket which I do not know what looks like for the cable to attach to underneath the car. A pic of it installed would greatly help if anyone knows what I am referring to

I understand that I LEAVE the linkage attached from the column to the trans, as this will activate the reverse lights and neutral safety

I need to get a console bracket to atttach the console to the floor

My car has the 60/40 so the buckets bolt in ok.

I need to get a piece from a steering column that was from a floor shift car?

Further help greatly appreciated.

Your in the same boat I am when it comes to the center console brackets. Im just gonna make mine since no one sells them new.

go to a wrecking yard and find a gbody that had a console/shifter. There are 3 brackets that bolt the console and shifter to the floor, then get everything measured out. grab all the bolts/screws you will need out of the wrecking yard too. Also 'crazyboutolds did have the bracket which bolts to the transmission, which u will need. you will also need the seat belts for the bucket seats, as they are different.

I've got the dimensions for the brackets if you end up buying them on ebay or something and need them.

Well no. There are three brackets that are spot welded to your floor that hold your shifter and your console. Then your console will mount to the rear bracket and on the front mount to your shifter. Then you need a bracket that bolts to your pan to hold your shifter cable. If you already have the 60/40 seats hour all set to go to buckets.
