Installing Headers?

Freind of mine has a stock 307 cutlass with cracked exh manifolds..thinking about just installing headers.. car has high miles ..what are the chances the bolts will snap in the heads?? has anyone had this happen ? What are a good set of headers that WILL FIT? And are they as hard to install as everyone says?...Any help will be much appreciated..

When I took my old stock exhaust manifolds off my monte after being on for 31 years, I used a product called JB 80 and sprayed all the studs like mad the night before, then an hour before and had no issues with snapped studs or bolts. I suggest you try that.
