i have 78 260 that i need to keep runing until i get a 455 block what i need to know is what 4 barrel intake can i use on this motor ? will a chevy 305 intake work any ideas thanks

nope. 260 is an olds motor. you can use anyone from the olds family. small block v8s 260-403 I believe.

I thought the 260 used tiny intake ports that would not work well with other sbo manifolds. It will bolt up, just not perform too well.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

a 260 olds has a 4 barrel intake i thought those things came with 2 barrel only?
