Just found out that the rear most body to frame mount on the passenger side of my 81 olds is floppin in the air. Is there a way to fix this with out taking the body off the frame. If you ask me that is a stupid place for it stuff gets kicked up from the wheel at it all the time.

The body needs to at least be raised up enough to get tools in there to cut out old metal and weld new in.

Gbodyparts.com sells these "repair" washers which work fine, but you could just go find some huge washers at a hardware store much cheaper.

I thought about those washers, I just had no idea if it could be easly fixed. thanks

Just make sure there is plenty of good metal in that area to be able to support it.

I gotta ask did you weld in the washers?
