I would tend to think we'd be headed for all out anarchy before anything else. For the 2nd time during the current POTUS' time in office, there's been an insane weapon grab. You know people are buying firearms at an overwhelming rate when retailers are turning business away!

I'm sure things are going to return to normal when the dust settles, but I also think people are reaching their breaking point and have a higher sense of prepared-ness than 20 years ago.

Yeah....many bought weapons after the 08 election because they were just SURE that BO was gonna take away their guns.... and now, many are doing the same thing for the same reasons..... makes me proud to be an American.....

In 2011 there were 32,367 people killed in car accidents in the US. In 2011 there were 8,583 people murdered by firearms in the US.....just saying

Not sure I see the connection or the relevance....one has nothing to do with the other.... and both amounts are too high, yet seemingly justified and acceptable by the masses....

Mabey its time to take away the Semi Auto weapon and the Automatic assult rifles???? as well as Pistols .... No one needs that sh*t.. I was amazed when I went to the states and went into a Sports store and seen Semi auto Ak 74's and m14's like whoa

Maybe it's time to take those weapons from the bad guys, Why punish the people who use those guns properly. Those guns are a blast (no pun intended) at the shooting range. Gun control protects the criminals. Gun control got 13 military people killed at Fort Hood. The personnel on base are not permitted to carry guns so the terrorist was not stopped like he could have been if they had weapons. The recent shooter at the Oregon mall was stopped after killing two people when a licensed gun carrier pulled out his weapon.

Meh I dont see Figures like that in other countries with proper gun control. Mabey it is fun to fire a semi auto weapon or auto weapon at the range.. but I dont know ... all I'm going to say is i'm thankful to live in canada where your not in to many situations where the public have acess to Millitary grade weapons you know? I'm fine with Hunting Rifles but you dont ****ing need a Mac10 or a Mp5k or even a Ak47 ... I dont care what anyone says your bound to have more deaths with sh*t like that being sold to regular people..

Just because there is no media coverage and we live in a grey world here in Canada it does not mean assault weapons don't exist in Canada. It's easy to buy an assault weapon in Canada, in Ontario all you need is 10 hours of training.

No one NEEDS a 12mpg 500hp engine in their street car but they can because they have that right to. Anything in the hands of a maniac can be used for harm. Anyway Merry Christmas and to those that dont celebrate it, you can celebrate the fact that tax time is coming :lol:
