Very true about TATA. But if you get up close and personal with a Jaguar or Land Rover, you will find MANY items with FoMoCo on them. Rear differentials are a good example of this as well as the diagnostics software. Ford owned in the early 2000's so their finger prints are still over many of their models.

I had an S-type for a short while. The 4.0 in it looked like a 7/8 scale DOHC mod motor. It was a really nice highway car that got 30mpg and had close to 300hp. It was very much a Ford product and shared the platform with the Lincoln LS.

Well Ford did own them for a number of years before TATA bought them out

Thats a notch up from the Balsa wood used in the C5 and C6 Corvette Z06's floors!!!

I believe that also was a shared chassis with the Thunderturd

years and years ago in 1974 I was at a British Leyland dealer picking up parts for my MGB and they had a Jaguar XKE for sale, 74 was the last year they made them. The car was selling for $10,400.00 and I thought about buying it to save cause I knew it would make money at some point. I changed my mind when I thought about the car payments interfering with my priorities back them, women and partying.... 😊
