Don’t care too much about the Jeg’s thing as I never use them, but Summit gone that way too blows. I used them quite a bit before our dollar went in the tank.

Wow, this blows. I also use Summit, too bad Amazon doesn't carry a bit more performance parts. Of course we are a remote location and I have to send parts to my daughter in Brandon, Mb for free shipping.

Just tried a Summit part on Ebay and the tax was there in my cart waiting for me.

I believe it works like this....

If they have a retail store there will be tax.

No retail store, just internet sales should be no tax.

I live in Georgia so I always pay sales tax at Summit have been using jegs before so I guess I'll just use Summit now

Yep found out ordering my FiTech. paid $90 dollars in sales tax. Used a $30 discount code. The $100 rebate will cover taxes I guess.

It does sting but there is a good side to this.

It allows a local speed shop to compete fairly. It can make the difference for that shop to survive or not. You might even see new speed shops in your area open up.
There's nothing like being able to drive down to the store, be able to visually see what you are buying and buy it right then and take it home. Also nice to be able to return it or exhange it with no worries about time and shipping charges.
