Saw Jegs even nails you for tax on FleaBay, looked into buying a Cold Case radiator from them & they wanted Pa's 6%. Went with another place in Illinos that didn't tax me.

Well I got something in the mail today from Summit. A nice letter about what I bought this year from them with total about owing Pa sales tax on it. Now I rather buy in state from a local place. Damn ecommerce.

I wonder how they're going to enforce that. Odds are, that if I got 'that' letter, it went directly to the shred bag. If I'm not expecting it or isn't from a place I normally expect mail from, it goes in the shredder.

Exactly. Luckily for me my shredder weighs 18k lbs empty, so it'll handle all the BS "you owe me tax now" letters that can be thrown at it!!!!....

NY has a box on the Resident tax form for sales tax on interweb and other sales. There are ranges of Adjusted Gross Income amounts to choose and then you declare from the chart what tax you owe. It has nothing to do with what you actually spent. It says DO NOT LEAVE THIS BOX BLANK!!!! Now that everyone and their Mother is charging sale tax I wonder if they are going to accept $0 in that box?

I got that same tax letter from Eastwood's a few weeks ago. Went straight to the trash.
