I totally don't NEED this kit, but for the price, it's tempting. I could use it on my wagon as a catback with rear tire exit, but thats a decent amount of cutting required to make it what I want.

Everyone needs to stop bumping this post so it stops reminding me that I should buy it.

My guess would be 2.5".... probably about 450hp. That's the general limit of 2.5 inch isn't it? If you have much over that at the flywheel, you might as well go 3".

what in the world did I do wrong guys? No matter what I do it seems like the exhaust is still hitting the springs, rear end, or the exits are not stable enough.

How are you hanging the tail pipes? Using what the kit included or using SS stock rear hangers? I'm using the stock SS hangers & they are helping to keep the pipes in line with the frame rails. I have the pipes kinda centered between the springs & upper arms. Keep in mind I'm doing my exhaust on a bare frame.

Keep in mind the tailpipes can rotate, rotate them to the outside, the tail pipe will point down, rotate them to the inside, it will point up. Gotta find a balance between the two that looks good and doesn't hit.You can get closer to the spring than the arm as the arm is at an angle and will change clearance wise as the rear end travels up and down. But leave enough space to account for the "shuffle" these cars have in the rear ends. Plus your driver's side pipe could stand to be closer to center.

Price for the kit quoted in the OP's post is now at 399. Appears the deal is over.

I have my Jegs kit on sale for $300 and no sales tax. 😉
