How many do you have over each car? I'm just trying to figure out how many I should buy. I have a two car garage that's probably 20'x40' with a man door on one side.
I just have a 2 car garage 22 x 24 and have 5 pairs spaced out evenly going across the cars lengthwise and I have 5 for the front of the cars and behind the cars when I close the door I have 4 led spotlights that shine on the back of the cars so I didn't use the 4' ones there.
You will need quite a few. My 14x25 shop I have a twin 4ft LED, single 4ft LED, 1-100W LED light bulb plus the 2-100W LED bulbs in the opener. Still barely adequate. I would say 4 of the 4ft double bulb LEDs at minimum for good lighting.
I'm primarily concerned with just the one half of the garage right now. Currently each garage bay has a twin 32W T8 fixture with LED bulbs in them, and I have a really bright LED panel fixture over the workbench which is on the opposite side of the garage as the Regal. The garage door opener above the other bay has two 100W LED bulbs in it.
So the opposite bay is actually pretty well lit. The bay that the Regal is parked in only has the one twin T8 fixture.
I have an outlet on the ceiling dead center above the regal for the garage opener to plug in to. I'm sort of debating whether I should plug the lights into the open receptacle on that outlet, or if I should hardwire them.

Yeah you need 3 to 4 more. I am thinking of adding reflective insulation at the rafter level to not only to hold in heat but reflect light back as well.
Here's the best picture I have off hand. Its older so the garage isn't exactly the same but the Regal stays in the left bay and the right bay with the BMW is the one that is already pretty bright. You can see the work bench on the far right.
After I rewired my garage and insulated the walls I added white tile board over the walls to reflect the light more and it works great and cleans easily.

Yeah your two car garage is roughly two of my garage, so one half is the same. Another thing I am glad I went with the door with windows, more light. It was a Home Depot exclusive for just a few dollars more but over double the R value of the base door.
