Here's the best picture I have off hand. Its older so the garage isn't exactly the same but the Regal stays in the left bay and the right bay with the BMW is the one that is already pretty bright. You can see the work bench on the far right.

Here's a crazy idea: switch the cars!

That would be the logical solution... Until you realize that the other car would then be parked in by the cars in the driveway. It's not a huge deal if the Regal is parked in because it doesn't move that much. I'll have to get a drawing or picture to better illustrate.

You need new lights, not a lot of cost. I only have a 30 amp breaker feeding my shop, could probably add a couple move if I really wanted but need 3 heaters going to work in the winter.

Yeah I agree. I was thinking about it last night. I want to work on the car not the garage. I also don't want to be cutting up my ceiling, I have textured drywall ceilings in the garage. If the ceiling wasn't finished I would definitely hardwire them. I don't know what size breakers I have in the garage, I'll have to check. That actually brings up another issue. I'll explain in depth later.

I'm tempted to start a sub thread on the garage but I don't want to distract myself with the garage itself.

Lights are taken care of. Bought 4 of these LED shop lights at Sam's Club today. They are 5000 lumen. It is sooo much better! These are seriously great! There is a ton of light in the garage. They were easy to install, I wanted to use some conduit to neaten up the cords but I've got some staples holding them up, it's good enough for now.

I also pressure washed the concrete floors and got them a lot cleaner than they were.

He finally gets some lights on the Regal and then covers it up.
