Class of '78. Proper Sport steering wheel since added, has aluminum hood and Buick Turbo Coupe spoiler (as shown above, too!). Got lots of attention at the Griot's Garage Goodguys meet in Raleigh, last month. Only Aeroback on exhibit. They're all awesome cars in their own rite. It's like eenie meenie minie mo. Pick one. The entries are getting nicer and nicer, in my opinion.
 
I think I will finally enter mine in one of these!

1978 Pontiac Grand Prix, 28,000 miles. Pontiac 400 bored and stroked, Sniper fuel injection, Kaufman ported aluminum heads, 11 to 1 compression, custom grind comp cam, Mad Dog headers, 3 inch exhaust, 200-4R transmission, 10 bolt 8.5 Grand National rear end 3.43 gears, 1978 Firebird functional shaker hood, 1978 Firebird suspension components and a whole lot of other stuff. 78 salon 50k powered with a the neck snapping 260 And i row all that power with a factory 5sd while lounging in bucket seats. I too have upgraded steering wheel to a factory sport wheel and 120mph gauges. View attachment 176292
I have to say that I really like of these Cutlass Salons, but damn, you need a tire to fill the wheel wells.

I have a 79 century sport coupe with a Pontiac 400 mild build street car that is fun. Also I enjoy the hood tach on my 78.

Surprises a lot of them. I respect the torque and plan to get some numbers this weekend, if all goes well. First time at track with her.
