Oh how I wish I lived in Texas. There is no good junkyards up here in Minnesota. Anyone know what type of wheels those are in the 5th picture? I've never seen them before.

Not s exactly sure, but i think they were an option on 1981-1988 Monte Carlo's and there 14X6 alumimun. I know that there are rare, and starting to get harder to find..

There was that one malibu out there that had an aluminum radiator and headers when I was there a few weeks back. But someone saw both and snagged them up.

Ah Pick-N-Pull San Antonio. I've lived in there since 1995. Go there all the time. I LOVE that they now have a shuttle service. So nice on HOT days!

There is another good yard in San Antonio called Roosevelt Pick-A-Part. Not far from Pick-N-Pull. Lots there too.

I was at PNP a few weeks back and they did have a ton of G-Body Grand Prix's. They have an entire section of B-Body Caprice-type cars, it's awesome.

Now Dallas has THE BEST YARDS. In the DFW area there are 5-6 Pick-N-Pull type yards. I drive up there for a weekend of yarding whenever I can. Nothing rusts, it's awesome.

Houston has 4 big yards as well, but you have to watch there, as cars near the gulf can have salt air damage.

One of my favorite parts about living in Austin is having all these awesome yards within 1-3 hrs drive. ; )

I go more for the Lt1-powered B-body station wagons and Caprice police cars than the Cutlass....but am switching to G-body searches since my Roadmonster wagon is pretty much done. Here's a few pics from a recent run. Not G-bodies but you get an idea of what's there.

God Bless Texas. In Texas salt is for margaritas, not roads! 😀

I'll get G-body pics next time I hit the yards.

All those Grand Prix's sitting there baking in the sun makes me sad. :| okay not that sad but DAMN im lucky to find one or two around here... 😀
On the 8th pic of your thread there is a GP with the lower front fender trim with the cornering lamp cutouts! I need both of the trim pieces, i have looked forever here and haven't seemed to find them in good dent free shape. are you going anytime back soon? If so could you check them out for me and if in good shape pull them? PLeeeease....

getting to be few u pulls around here . Mostly scrap yards getting some extra cash form cars. But they crush every couple months and nothing is rust free. For the most part. But there r 4 lt1 caprices in the 1

I'm jealous, haven't seen that many g body cars in a yard in almost 10 years, lol.
Hey pat, malibu part, what might be the price of the aluminum molding that fastens to trunk lid, it runs in between the quarter extensions, just above the tail lights?
