Are you talking about the somewhat flat pieces that go on top of the tail lights? Or the trim shaped like an "L" that wraps around the edge of the tail light between the tail light and quarter panel extension?

Nope, it's the polished aluminum trim that fastens to the trunk lid, and runs the length of the lip. You have a picture of one in your first post, it's on the brownish colored malibu with the smashed lock cylinder.

See what's missing on the trunk lid? They are pretty fragile, and I broke mine 😳 , haven't been able to find one up here yet, lol.

Must be nice to have all that rust free iron in the yards there. Some of those look better than cars I see on the streets here.

I'll PM you guys a price with shipping included probably tonight. I have no problem heading out to the yards tomorrow and grabbing these pieces before the weekend crowd gets out there or they go to the crusher :x . May be easier to call you guys tomorrow while I'm out there because they don't specify a lot of trim under their price list. What I'll do is go to both yards down there since they get fresh inventory every wednesday.

Can you cut metal off the cars?

Of course. I had to saw zaw a whole floor out of a cutlass to replace my damaged ones after the driveshaft snap. I paid $20 for the whole floor in rust free, original paint condition

If anyone wants something, since I'm going the yards tomorrow, PM what you're looking for and your phone number so when I get there, I can get a price and check the inventory for whatever your looking for.

man, I almost missed this thread...
... and now I'm kinda wishing I did.

... makes me sad... half those cars are in better condition than the body of my GP 🙁

I've been looking for that hood ornament khan, but I think these guys that process the cars before they go into the yard like breaking the ornaments off or the guys that walk through the yards do.

If you see a set of solid 81-88 Cutlass doors could you please let me know? I can get down there in an hour and a half.

My car has been in Texas for the past 15 years, but it does have rust on the lower edges of the doors in the jams....typical. The window sweeps were bad and water got in the doors. It's the only rust on the entire car.

Thanks in advance!
