Does that mean that the GP is a superior made gbody then?

It's because GM knew that GP owners are superior so they had to made the GP superior to other G bodies..... 8)

Yeah. Pretty much.

Speaking of bracing, I should be getting my hands on some GN swaybars soon. Aynone have pics of how/where the rear one bolts in? I just want to know what other bushings/links I am going to need to install this beast. Thanks.

The rear ones bolt onto the rear lower trailing arm. Make sure you get the two brackets with the sleeves for the bolts that fit into the trailing arm so it doesn't collapse when bolting up the sway bar.

well if you own a GP and your not superior then you truly are "different"..

Thanks i will take that as a compliment  Woo Hoo! I have had two, a 79 and my current 85. So i am a legend in my own mind

well i went to a junk yard today, got some Bonneville fender braces (those do bolt up right?) and i almost had a set of grand national bucket seats... could not... and i mean seriously could not get the bolts out, they were rounded off and rusted trust me i spent 3 hours struggling to get them out and even left the junk yard to go buy some pb blaster, and vice grips. but the damn things refused to come out.. and my brother ended up bending the frames anyway trying to help me. they needed recovering, but they were only 35 bucks, so maybe its better i didnt get them lol. coundnt find any cutlass peices i needed. .. damn...

I would try to find the buckets from a Monte Carlo over any of the others. They have a nicer shape to them, IMO. Plus, unlike Cutlass buckets, the headrests are adjustable and the side bolsters are thicker.

As for the Bonneville braces, they might work if it is the G body Bonneville of 1985(?), but I doubt they will if it is a B body Bonnie. I would have checked them against the Regal you were trying to get the seats from.

hey 85CB, if you happen to find a set of rear fender well pieces for a cutlass in good shape, for really cheap let me know, and when we meet up for a car show over the summer ill pay you for them. im having trouble finding them.

What do you mean by rear fender well pieces? In the trunk? I only have one good trunk floor to quarter piece and it's going on my car. I have a very hard time finding good trunk stuff and am using some of the poor stuff I have as a pattern to make new parts for my car.

the wheel well chrome trim that goes in between the fender and the wheel well.
