LED Flasher

Ok so i bought a different electronic flasher and plugged it into the pigtail plug and my signals flash like they're supposed to. But as soon as i turn on the parking lights they stop flashing. So i tried the new flasher in the main fuse panel and the lights only flash for hazards so that obviously is the hazard flasher location which i probably will never use. So why won't they flash while the parking lights are on?

To clarify, the flasher that is located in the fuse panel is for the hazards only. The one in the pigtail that is clipped to the dash behind the radio area is for the turn signals. Why would you not buy a flasher for both the turn signals and hazards? They're only around $12 each and last a long time, especially a hazard flasher.

As far as them not flashing with the parking lights on, did you make sure and buy bulbs were designed to replace a stock 1157 dual filament bulb? It could be designed to replace an 1156 bulb which is only a single filament and thus won't flash when you have the parking lights on. You would need an LED bulb labeled as dual intensity.

I did buy 2 flashers. As far as the bulbs go, i got 1157s but not sure on the dual intensity, i will have to check.these are the ones i bought with the 1157 base

I finally got my signals to work like they're supposed to. Turns out I either had the wrong flasher or a defective one. BTW the ones I was working on were the front bumper signal/parking lights so I needed 1156's all along instead of 1157. Only thing not right is the interior signal indicators stay lit constantly. Anyone know why?
