I have switchbacks on my Monte.

Before I installed them, the turn signals worked fine.

After installation, the lights came on in the white-ish hue as they should, when you pull the light knob out one click. However, the turn signals stopped working. I can manually make them come on, but just pushing the lever down results in a solid state. I think it has something to do with my electrical more so than the lights.
Is it common for the blinker lights on the dash to stay on with leds ?

mine do this, too. They go "normal" if the headlights are on. I think I know why, but until I can test my theory I won't know for sure. And yes, I too have LED-flasher modules.

So I don't have to worry about it burning something Out? I don't mind the light being on

I don't think so. I have one turn-signal LED that goes in and out but I figure its just because its a cheap failing chinese POS.

The whole turn signal/lighting circuit is designed really lazily. It requires current being able to go both directions thru the circuit, basically switching which side is the pos/neg in sections with the lights on or off. When you stick the LEDs (key part being DIODE) in there, it only lets it work one direction. At least that's my theory. That and it needs to be loaded properly where the LEDs put hardly any load on it at all..... I think there are bi-directional LEDs out there but I haven't looked into that much yet.
