Lets see what you guys have for garage tunes. So I picked up these Klipsch speakers from best buy. And for a small package they sure have great sound and bass!

I have a "boom box" type radio. It's mounted almost to the ceiling (10'-4") and is set to a classic country station. I've mounted it high so my wife can't change the station (she hates step ladders) and she hates country music! Helps to keep her out of my shop when I'm out there playing  !!

In the paint shop we have an old late '70s Marantz that my brother grabbed from the dumpster where he works. It really cranks! It's hooked up to some old no-name speakers (above) I bought for $20 at a garage sale when I was 15 (1990). They were old then. I had one bungeed to my handlebars and wore one like a backpack for my 3 mile BMX ride home  .

In the other shop is your standard (cheap) Aiwa shelf system. Nothing special.

Upstairs in the "lounge" is my early '90s Pioneer stack. That 25 disc changer was the sh*t when I bought it. Remember CDs? The bottom is a powered sub. LOUD!

The silver thing in the corner is a stripper pole  .

I like everyones setup! My garage is my haven away from the 6 kids and other half when they get craby! I honestly spend more time in the garage then in my lazy boy. Sometimes the kids join me as well. My 9 month old daughter loves watching her daddy work on his car.

ill get a pic of it later but ya know the sound bars ment for in your living room... ya i bought one for 90 bucks and ended up putting it in my garage. aux input and ipod drawer and all kinds of stuff. sounds good and takes up no space case its mounted up about 6 or 6.5 feet up on one of the walls

I'll get a picture later, but I have a Pioneer from the same era that looks very similar. That was the style then.
I bought it new somewhere around 78 or 79,and it keeps plugging away where other systems have come and gone.
I have some garage sale speakers hooked up to it along with a Creative Jukebox MP3 player that is outdated, but still has over 2000 songs on it.

Like I said, it really cranks. The speakers really don't do it justice.

I have a big ol' AKAI stereo amp/receiver and some huge house speakers I found in the trash while driving my work truck. I can blast it so loud the neighbors shut their windows  .

Ive got an older nad 3150, that powers two 1200 watt jbls, over kill......but nice sometimes
