Time to do some work. Interesting concept. I read somewhere that these would have sleeves so it’s not surprising but if I didn’t know before purchasing I probably would have been a little upset. I don’t remember reading anywhere in the descriptions for these how they were actually constructed. I do believe the adjustable ones are actually threaded onto the shock body.

Need to get the rear suspension together next. Currently Has the same drag type setup. Great for the track but not for street driving imo

FYI - you and I have a different opinion of a level 1 build lol.

Regarding suspension and handling (the QA1's define your budget), I'll mention a note worthy modification. Get the SS or 442 front sway bar and an UMI rear bar that attaches to the lower arms. It will be night day in terms of eliminating chassis lean. And regarding tire sizes, you can go much bigger with correct spacing. My kid is running 17's all around with 255's in the rear and 245's in the front - again - night and day with the handling going with a lower profile, wider tire.

Keep it up - you doing some nice work - I'm following!

One of the previous owners snipped the harness right at the fender so I will now have the joy of figuring out which wires I need to get power to the factory fuse box. Headlights and taillights are pretty necessary.. Power windows and moonroof would be nice also. Car still runs and drives because drivetrain is basically stand alone but nothing else is getting power.

Yes sir I anti seized the heck out of them. I layed it on heavy where the collars are and below. I didn’t put any up high assuming I would never adjust that high.
