lighting woes

Update...checked ground at rear in trunk and body ground at batt and cleaned. Checked fuses with test light and realized I had took brake light fuse out...bonehead. put back in...tail lights. Thanks again
 
I will check that wire out tomorrow. Thanks. Just puzzles me how when brakes applied they work but not when light switch is on no tail lights. And the front park lights coming on when brakes applied. Darn gremlins
I have seen burnt out light switches do this too

glad it's fixed and good reminder it is really easy to overlook the basics but on the other side of the coin you shouldn't have any issues with grounds in the future
 
Thanks to all!! Now on to insturment and idiot lights not working and blower motor not working. Lol

we can only help with one problem per thread....😛

did you remember to reinstall all the grounds? What about the one from the engine to the firewall
 
Haha. Forgot about that ground. Will check and clean. No power at insturment light fuse. Will work my way back. Thanks again to all of yall
 
If you turn your lights on you should have power at the fuse, if not the problem is in the switch since the switch feeds the fuse...
