I have found that most the time on my cars I do not use Lock Tight. When I do it is generally the blue. If there is a lock washer or torque spec involved and no specification in the service manual to use it I don't. The larger bolts I have found I do not have any issue with them staying tight. This said there have been times where it has its uses. It is one of those things that over time and with experience I just can tell if a bolt will need the extra help.

I’ve had good luck with the anti seize that comes in stick form. Doesn’t make as much of a mess as the can does.
Good God man, never sieze on a stick is like drinking beer out of a tippy cup.

I really like the Tin Man look when I’m ankle deep in a project.
