If that's what you believe that's fine - I changed from Shoenfeld 1.75 TO Shoenfeld 1.75 stepped to 1.875 headers and lost .05 ET. That's computer corrected to the weather and stepped headers were coated. Now that's nothing to feel but never the less a loss.

A change in ET is irrelevant. Trap speed is the direct indicator of your power:weight ratio. Elapsed time is merely an indicator of your traction at that exact power level.

Tell us how your trap speed changed (be sure to include all relevant weather readouts, including measured altitude density, on both runs) and we can decide if you actually lost or gained anything by your header change.

An another option is the Buick Grand National cat back, but you will have to cut off the y-pipe part and add back in the x-pipe for additional money. It's says its 304 SS which is more resistant to rust than 409 SS.

I am almost certain these exhaust systems are made by the same manufacturer and most likely made in China.

Is it worth $650 plus the x-pipe plus the install costs? IDK, but it should last forever if installed correctly.

You could always go the custom route. Below is my 3" exhaust setup. I used a universal kit and used borla 12" xr1 mufflers, turndowns. Summit part number 642130 was the kit I used.
