Losing my mind!!! Where do these go?!?!?!

Look like the strip that goes on the very bottom of the door panels to me. Maybe longer ones in front shorter ones in back? That's my guess.
That's a good guess, but those pieces are rubber, and have a wide, flat area with holes for the door panel clips to go thru. They're generally easy to identify.

Don't forget guys, in addition to figuring out those parts we also have to find Blake's mind...😎

i never dealt with wagons but they look like they would go over the edge of sheet metal, like a cowl to hood rubber seal or trunk seal. But I also agree it may be something for wiring to run through along the door jamb..
Hope it helps.

Blake,
Don't throw them away yet. Kevin's suggestion about them being some type of wire management strip, doesn't sound far fetched. , However, those strips are generally longer and go across both door openings, if I'm not mistaken.

They're probably not an essential part, but I would hold on to them for now. Once we figure it out, I'm sure we'll all have a good laugh over it. Oh, yeah, that's what it's for...LOL!!

Jack I was trying to remember what the wire gutters/channels looked like on that Olds wagon I pulled the pwr vent windows and wiring for Scott looked like. It seems to me there was a long one and a short one...due to the B pillar in the center I wonder if it was a two piece thing. Being four there would be two each side? However I can't recall for sure as it was awhile ago now.....you know it sucks getting old.

Wagons/four doors with pwr locks and or rear vent windows might have it as well?

They do look like wiring channels. I have some in my Monte but they run under the backseat along the side.

Kevin,
I think you're right that there's a longer one for the front door opening and shorter for the rear...that makes sense.
Also like you mentioned...there's four of them. They generally clip onto the pinch welds along the inner rocker panel, under the carpet.

I know what you mean about getting older. There's little tasks that I've done and can't recall how I've done it sometimes...😕

How exasperating. I just went out and unscrewed my sill plates for a look see. I have plastic wiring protectors under the carpet. While the part that looks like it should clip to the pinch weld is similar, the actual wiring protector is a sheath and is about 2" wide. Mine is an '83 Pontiac so did they use this type for all makes/years or is yours different maybe?

I can confirm those are the wire channels for a wagon or sedan. The long ones go under the sill plates for the driver's doors, and short ones for the rear doors. There is a lip that can be unclipped with a flat-bladed screwdriver to flip open the channel in order to add things like stereo cables. Do this before you put in the B-pillars because they form the path between the front an rears.
