I bought this car as a shell it’s an 86 Monte ss. I have a single switch you pull 2 x and is a dimmer . If I pull to first stop I get nothing. If I pull to second (furthest possible pull) I get all 4 lamps on. I did just swap everything out to h4 but I do not know if they were previously working.

Check my response in your other thread.

If you just switched the headlights to h4 without a relay harness. It can cause the high beam light indicator to be dim on on the dash and cause the lights to go out driving on high long time. And IIRC the headlights are alway power on and ground is the switch. But i might be thinking of another project i did. An h4 relay harness is needed. Swear i got mine cheaper but that was proly 10yrs ago
