Tony, For the LS1 brakes did you turn down a factory rotor to use for a hub and buy a bracket for the LS1 caliper?

We are going to do the C5 on ours with the bracket and hub I think. I did it in the past for a friend on his 3rd gen f-body and it worked good.

12" rotor.. factory spindle + bracket.. not sure what hub was used though.. I had them done for me.. maybe I can find out.

It was the g-body hub that was turned down to fit the LS1 rotor.. he said he put the studs in the freezer and hub in the over at 200º so it wouldnt crack when he pressed them in. I've been running the setup for many years no issues. hope that helps.

:shock: Wow!! I'm surprised that you sold it, Tony.
You've owned this one the longest, and put alot of love into it. Knowing you, I'm sure you'll end up finding something nice to replace it. :wink:
