Can anybody help me with replacing the Rear side windows on a 79 Malibu? the gaskets are worn and cracking.
How To and parts would be a great help.

Hey, You will need two rolls of butyl tape 5/16 or 3/8. Start by removing the rear interior panels over and under the quarter windows. The quarter windows are held in place with brackets the screw to the body around the window frame. With the brackets removed slowly and gently push on the out side of the glass and it should start to separate from the butyl tape.
With the glass removed, Remove all the old butly tape. Replace the butyl tape screw the glass in with the brackets and replace the interior panels. Here a photo of the bracket .
