Yeah, I was going maybe 35mph. He just was standing there with his back to me and just stepped in front of me. About 4 miles from making it home. I just yelled a really bad word and kept on going...

1980 is an unfortunate year as the aftermarket makes 78-79 and 81-83 spare parts, but for some unexplainable reason, no repro 'new' headlight doors, marker lenses or grilles. I think the header panels from 1980 and 1981 may be interchangeable, and I have some spare 1980 parts, but they aren't shiny new.

Thanks, it's definitely bad enough. I would have rather been driving my 2014 F-250. Before I got the Malibu I had a 78' Grand Am. Sweet car. Any Grand Am's on here?

There are a few Grand Am owners here, but not many.
