Good morning, new to the forum. Need some help sourcing some parts for my 1980 Malibu Classic. Little bit about my Malibu. I purchased it in March of 1984. 305 4bbl 4- speed. One of 202 made in 1980. A few weeks ago I hit a 12pt buck.😭 Now I need to fix it. Would love to put new parts rather than used. Where is the best place to find the parts I need? Passenger front fender, passenger door skin, hood, fender molding, and I believe I will need the whole nose. (Fiberglass) passenger headlight trim and side turn signal. I am just sick about this whole thing. Thanks for any help. PIT CREW

Welcome! Looks like a nice Malibu! Really sorry to see/hear about you hitting a deer. Glad you're okay and that there wasn't too much damage.

Where are you located? I have two header panels off 1980 Malibu's...I'm in Canada so shipping one might be a bit costly. I also have a pair of NEW never installed 80 headlight bezels (would like to sell as a pair) along with a couple of pretty decent 80 grilles. I probably still have a pair of the corner marker lights as well.

Thanks for the reply. I live in Ohio. The car is beautiful. It has been pretty much a sunny Sunday car for close to 35 years. Shouldn't have been driving it that night. I'll wait and see if someone closer can help first. May have to bite the bullet and pay the shipping. Thanks again.

Nice looking Malibu! Sorry to hear about your incident with the deer. I have 1 of 124 1980 305/4 speed Malibus that were sold in Canada in 1980.
Kevin (O.D.Showtime) is a great guy, and a great guy to deal with, if you decide to go with him for parts.

Awesome, do you have a picture of your Malibu?

Welcome aboard! Sorry to hear about your encounter with a deer. Looks like a nice Malibu, too.

Kevin (O.D.Showtime) is a great guy to deal with and you'll never hear any negative feedback about him.
Many of us have dealt with him over the years and have been very pleased with the parts that we've purchased. Granted, shipping may be a bit of a nut to swallow, but I have absolutely no regrets with the parts that I have acquired from Kevin.

Permanent Temporary
1980 is an unfortunate year as the aftermarket makes 78-79 and 81-83 spare parts, but for some unexplainable reason, no repro 'new' headlight doors, marker lenses or grilles. I think the header panels from 1980 and 1981 may be interchangeable, and I have some spare 1980 parts, but they aren't shiny new.

Greetings Pit crew & all; Welcome to the best forum on the internet! Please fill out your bio, then we'll all know where you're from & you won't have to keep re posting very time someone asks. If you look to the right side of you-our posts you will see that info block. And note I'm from Southern Wisconsin 7 miles from Illinois boarder I-90. I have a hood in perfect condition med Bronze, wrong color & I'm not sure I even want to part with it? I also have a header panel off a 79 complete with lights, lens & grill. And it is silver, some what scuffed, side marker lens are good. But the plastic chrome is rough. And I'm not sure that a 79 header will except your 80 grill? At least I'm a drivable distance, guessing 700 miles give or take. Good luck, Ole' Bob.
