Hello,
I received the Pitman Arm this morning. The seller was very nice.

I installed the Pitman Arm in the evening, Malibu rolls again. I'm glad, tomorrow I had my car for go to work.
It remains for me to adjust the steering wheel, probably one step left.
The steering is very good reactive, but more rigid.

Good night.

Bravo Sebastien!
I'm glad you got your parts and got the car back on the road. Which steering box did you put in, the Monte Carlo SS quick ratio?
They feel a lot tighter and more positive than the stock box.
It's good to hear that you have had good buying experiences in the US.
Bonne soire'e

Thank you Jack.

The Steering gear I chose by Rockauto, is that it:
ACDELCO Part # 360516530 {#88991227} Reman
GEAR,STRG 3 TO 3 1/2 TURNS LOCK TO LOCK, 4 BOLT HOUSING COVER; 4 DOORS; w/o FIRM RIDE & HANDLING SUSP(F41) or SPORT PKG(Z65)
GEAR,STRG 3 TO 3 1/2 TURNS LOCK TO LOCK, 4 BOLT HOUSING COVER; STATION WAGON; w/o FIRM RIDE & HANDLING SUSP(F41) or SPORT PKG(Z65)

I know not quick ratio.

My Malibu now requires adjustement for caster or toein (no know the exact name in English) in french is "parallélisme", the steering wheel is not aligned and I could only shift a notch.

A plus tard Jacques.

Good to see an overseas member posting. You have a very nice looking wagon there! Looks to be in really good condition. I like the color.

Best of luck with the wagon.

Kevin

Hello,
A message to tell you that my car is working well, it runs all day. 😀

I'd like to exchange a part and I do not know if I should put it in rubric "for sale" or here.
A gentleman told me that the KM/H speedo can be interesting here.

I have a KM / h speedo Chevrolet Malibu Wagon Black (A Body photo on page 3 this topic)
This is Speedo:

I will exchange for a package of food that Americans eat in general. Things that can cross an ocean (cola, chips, donuts, peanut better, etc..)
No no I'm not crazy, but I would really like to taste food from your country.

Bonjour Sebastien,

I'm sure a Canadian member, or aother European member might be interested in the speedometer. It appears to be in nice condition.

As for the food items that you mentioned, these items are considered junk food here. Not so much the peanut butter, but the chips, donuts, soda, etc.
Are these foods a novelty in France.

Bonsoir and bon dimanche. 😀

Hello,

For the European I do not think because we have a few Malibu A or G body. American car enthusiasts prefer to put their money into a more says exotic model. In the meeting in very few people look at Malibu Wagon, but that's okay because unlike them, I prefer to drive my Malibu daily, is my family driver (I love the USA so I drive American car).

In France we have Coca-Cola, but it is mixed in France. People who have visited the USA said that Coca Cola has a different taste.
I've never tasted Coca Cola American and never tasted Beer.
I bought at the supermarket Jack Daniel's (old No7 and Single Barrel), he wrote on the bottles: Imported by Barcadi-Martini France.
Was Heinz ketchup but not Imported.
There is very little products from the USA.
When I watch a American movies and I see actors in a diner, my stomach gurgles makes me very hungry 😀 .

Good Sunday to you.
