I was wondering if they came from GNS. Did you modify them then? Because when I compare your pics to the GNS website your's have cutouts on each end. Plus the one on their website has one more small hole on the passenger side than your's. I really like the way your's turned out and want to duplicate it.

What are your plans to do with to the heater-a/c box?

The wagon goes to the back burner yet again, I was doing good up until 5-6 weeks ago.

Took my daughter to a drivers experience for quarter midget racing at the end of March, long story short she loved it, we bought a car, I've been working non-stop since getting her fit to the car, comfortable, and putting a trailer together. Shes ran well in the last 4 weeks of rookie school and this Sunday she will start her first race. Hopefully I can get back to the wagon soon.

Hi guys kills me to type this but I am on the fence about selling my wagon, I never walk away from an unfinished project and my intentions were and are to finish it. The reason for the consideration of sale is to help finance my daughters race program, as I posted last year she began racing .25 midgets and had really taken to it and advanced quickly. We are looking to add a 2nd car to her program and larger trailer etc... The only way I can accomplish that financially for her 2019 season is to sell this car, if someone is interested in it I am willing to discuss a deal to let it go as is.

Posted in for sale section https://gbodyforum.com/threads/1980-malibu-wagon-frame-off-restored-unfinished-blank-canvas.70336/

This was a complete car a friend of mine had since 2001 he daily drove it 2001-2008, showed it, raced it a few times a year at Buick events, it was and can be again 86-87 Buick Grand National powered. I bought the car in 2009 from him as a roller and put a motor in it, fresh trans and drove it for a year before hurting the motor and pulling it apart to restore. I have all the parts new and old needed with only a few things missing to complete the car.

Its basically a blank canvas, it can be finished and painted the rest of the way white easily, or color changed easily as its only jammed in at this point. All the hard work is done, its a solid foundation to be made a race car, or finished the way I intended as a street car.

The car is currently at the body shop, its been frame off restored. Doors/jambs are painted white (newer bright white seen on durangos, jeeps - mopar color) Exterior is in primer/guide coat. With new NOS GM fenders, stock front bumper & rear roll pan, 2 hoods. I have brand new never mounted feather light composite's fiberglass front bumper with valance and rear bumper for a wagon. Chassis is fully restored, boxed, with HR stuff lower control arm reinforcements.

looks good you got too hawe alot of work whith that frame i am in the same process but looking for your work first
did you got any problems when you dismantle the car...good luck Hans in sweden
