That's sad. I've been a member there for over 15 years. Lots of good information and members but it seemed to slowly fade away ☹️

Guess I'll have to individually bookmark all the tech links I refer to occasionally. Unless the boss man here reveals what's got his gears turning.

yep, there was a post there asking folks to download any info they wish to keep. kind of why I went hunting around to find this place.
it was not very active but folks were there to answer questions most days, just not a lot of folks.

I sent an e-mail per his instructions on MR. I'd hate to see another G-Body site with tons of valuable info go down without a fight. Hopefully I hear back soon and its good news. IF by some miracle I'm able to take over I'd leave it more or less as-is, at least as far as the community is concerned. Looks like the forum software and overall the site needs updating but there's no reason it can't be brought back to at least some of its former glory.

Wellston, OK
Facebook pretty well killed it (and what a shitshow the <unofficial> MR facebook page is). I also found that things were a little less OK, maybe a LOT less antagonistic over here.

That said, it was the first G body site i joined

Be great if you and Philip could work something out, even if just for the nostalgia
