Here's my 83 Malibu Wagon when I first brought her home in December 2010.

The only thing that was changed on her was she was converted to R134A.

Odometer read 66k. Could've been original miles but who knows. That little 229 V6 runs flawlessly and doesn't leak a drop.

Only things Ive done to her is, suspension, exhaust, wheels, tint and stereo.
Thats the original color of my wagon inside and out. Nice car !!!!!

Oh, what the heck!

My 1986 Regal purchased in 2014. First picture is at it's first car show (Chrome on the Canal, Campbellford, Ontario in June 2014) and 2nd picture as it arrived home after being certified. Other pictures are of the car when advertised for sale by the previous owner.

I bought the car as is but it only needed 2 backup light bulbs for certification and a suggestion from the mechanic that I put new bumper fillers on which I did right away. Sadly all that has been done since then is a new tail pipe (a few years ago) and I just replaced what I think were the original spark plugs and wires. Car has had a respray on the driver's side fender and hood but otherwise is original paint which is pretty much done. Car is presently sitting on a set of 84 Grand National wheels.

Car shows approximately 73,000 miles on the odometer.
There was a Cutlass that color sitting in someones driveway about 20 minutes from where I live. It was down a quiet side street. I drove past the house dozens of times but I never saw anyone home. One day I went by and the car was gone. I was kinda bummed that I didnt stop and ask about it. Should have left a note in the door.

It won't win, but I will try anyway...
87 Cutlass Supreme, original paint, factory 305 sbc, Q jet, 200r4. Still has most of the factory stickers. According to the RPO codes, it came with skinnier tires and the fake wire wheel covers, but at least the Superstocks were a factory option. PO redid the vinyl, exhaust and stereo. I carry a full sized spare instead of the donut.

IMG_1609.JPGODO says 30,000 km, but 130,000 is more like it.

Only thing done is rims/tires, rebuilt front suspension with drop spindles, radio, and 3 point seatbelts in rear seat for my kids safety

its not "absolutely original" its "most original" so the closer the better.

yeah I know. Its supposed to be. We'll see how many entries we actually get and go from there. If its a lot of this we'll have to figure out what to do.

The other question I have is so many pictures aren't "now" even if it's currently owned.... it's how it was 10 years ago, or 5 years ago, or before I modified xyz....

I did not anticipate this happening, so not sure what to do about it. Thought it was assumed we were talking about the cars *now* and not at some point in the past when they were obviously more original... I guess I will defer to you all on this one on how to handle these entries.

I think we've got a good handful of "now" cars and pictures.

I hate to add to your work, BUT, I've thought for a couple months now it would be nice if entries had to include a (insert nominal length here) character length description to go under the picture in the voting thread.

I vote we trim entries to currently owned, and, current picture. Then either this month or future we say you get 200 characters +/- to describe. Enough to eyeball it as close enough, then voters can figure it out without going back and forth between threads
