everyone knows the only reason weed is illegal is because of big oil. They had to do somethign to slow down hemp taking over the country. (im not talking about potheads)

did you even read my rant and rave? i explained why for the most part its illegal.. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

A bit of weird pot trivia for you. Go back and watch early three stooges movies and watch how they roll and smoke their "cigarettes". I know people rolled their own cig's back then but watch when they hit it. People do not hold tobacco smoke in like that. Remember, weed was not made illegal until 1937, after the rise of the Stooges.

If Marijuana was illegal purely for the narcotic effect, we would be able to use it for other industries (rope, paper, fuel). The ropes on the Nina, the Pinto, and the Santa Maria were all made from hemp (pot), as were the early drafts of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, Jefferson smuggled seeds from France during the revolution. beeterolds is 110% correct.

The same people printing the news papers that decried the evils of Marijuana (a word they invented to describe hemp to confuse people) owned the wood pulp paper mills that were competing with Hemp Paper.

Do the research. Read the Emporer's New Clothes by Jack Herer.

I think we should be able to have it whatever way is the cheapist for us. Ok, so they don't want to make it 'legal', what about if they just make it not 'illegal'??? Kinda like pop or Little Debbies. Did they ever have to pass a law to make snacks legal???? And their not illegal, so where does that leave them? Not to confuse everyone, I'm just sayn whats the big deal?

Beeterolds has the money thing right. The United States long ago banned the growing of hemp, despite the industrial cannabis varieties not even containing enough THC to catch a buzz off of. Hemp was one of the crops George Washington grew on his farm, and Ben Frankin had a mill that made hemp paper. Another thing that was outlawed due more to politics than common sense. Medical Marajuana is now allowed to be grown in the state of California, it is one of the best and safest sources for relief from glaucoma and many types of cancer.

Not to mention that it helps AIDS patients deal with that disease and regain their appetite. However, since it is a class 1 narcotic, it is illegal to even do research into the possible medical benefits and uses of marijuana. It's not a cure all drug for the things it helps with, but some patients may benefit from it in cases where other drugs have not worked.

"how would they regulate something you can grow in your backyard?" look at tobacco
as said i think it should be treated like alcohol. regulate it and tax it (sh*t, with the amount of weed in my are you could pay off the housing loan companies). especially allow it for proven medical uses like glaucoma and cancer.

thanks for agreeing with me on some of my points gents, its soo sad how something so good for the economy, and the world is sooo bad in the eyes of greedy politicians and corporate money grubbers.. But seeing how the world economy isnt doing so great due their retarded policies.. Pot may just may perhaps make a comeback into the economy.. sure we shouldnt get our hopes up about smoking that "fattie" in front of a police officer..but it may come back as a raw material used as a stepping stone for the world economy...

its funny i mentioned the cops because my cop buddy was asked what hes going to do when he retires, he simply replied.. "roll the fattest joint ive ever rolled!" or i can guarantee you i can pass a piss test right now.. but i cant promise you that when i retire in 4 years 😀, hes not the only cop to say that either..

Marijuana is an expandable drug for expandable minds.. enough said
