Methods for repairing sway bar bolt holes

Steve,
I realize that uniformity is key, but hopefully it will be a while when I take this thing apart again. I did repair the adjacent hole with a type of insert that I found. I was able to cut out a larger hole and drop it in. Then welded it in place. Unfortunately it was the only one that I have.

I did look online to the fastenal site. They have what I need, but it would take a few days. Plus they have a flat rate on shipping. For just a few pieces, the shipping is more than the actual hardware.
I'm looking at a type of nutsert, blind rivet, or blind insert. It goes under these names.

Frankly, I like the nutsert principal.

what about making your own inset by tapping a rod and weld that in place or rounding off a nut and weld that in place...

Steve,
I ended up ordering a few M10 x 1.50 nutserts. Wouldn't you know, after I placed the order, I found a fitting that I could've used.
Oh well. we'll see how well these nutserts work. If I find that they work well, I'll recommend them to the G-body community and post the part #'s and where they can be obtained.
